Our Story
The nursery was established in 1998 and since then has been run as a private bilingual day nursery (English-Spanish), continuing to evoke a community centric family feel and encourage diversity and equality.
At the Anglo Spanish Nursery School we offer a full immersion bilingual education; where children acquire an additional language unconsciously, through strong personal bonds, social interactions and fun experiences.
We have a mix of staff who can speak English and native Spanish speakers who work alongside each other allowing both languages to be complemented. This allows us to maintain the language and culture attributes of the nursery being authentic.
We are exceptionally privileged to have a large secure outside playground, which is accessible daily from all the classrooms.

Your baby is special to us! Your babies are important to ensure the continuity from home to nursery. Our baby room is spacious and filled with soft furnishings and wonderful resources.
The staff ratio in the baby room is 1:3 where each child is given a Key Person.
The Key Person communicates with you and your baby ensuring your child’s unique daily routine is followed and met. Throughout the day we use our Interactive Learning Diary (ILD) which parents can log in to to access their child’s observations with photographic and video evidence. At the end of each day we give you a personalised handover and this can be accessed on our Interactive Learning Diary(ILD) at home each evening.
There are story times, singing, puppets and musical instruments. Each child is encouraged to develop and use their senses by exploring different textures with messy play, sand, water and painting.
