I was born in the north of Spain and I grew up in a big family, so I have always been surrounded by children. I always knew, since very young, that I wanted to dedicate my professional life to education in early years. I consider myself privileged to work with babies, very young children and their families.
I completed a Bachelor´s Degree in Early Years Teaching in 2008and a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology in 2010. I therefore hold the (QTS) Qualified Teacher Status, recognised in England. I came to London looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge and experience and also to get to know different systems of education.
I did the NVQ 3 in Children´s Care, Learning and Development in 2010-2011 and I completed the Level 5 Diploma in Early Years Leadership and Management in 2013, which gave me a solid base to grow as a leader.
I have been working at the ASNS for 5 years now. I started my journey in the Baby Room in September 2010 and, in January 2011, I moved to Class 3-Preschool to be the Room Leader, where I grew professionally more than I imagined I would. In September 2013 I took over the position of Deputy Manager and in September 2014 I was promoted to be the Manager of the ASNS.
I am passionate about working with very young children and families, and committed to ensure we provide them with a safe, stimulating, fun, diverse and nurturing environment. I strongly believe that loving and qualified staff are paramount for a quality care and education, as well as working in partnership with families for the benefit of the children, the priority of all.

        Rubén Castillo HerediaDeputy Manager
I am from a city in the North of Spain, Zaragoza.
I completed my Early Years Education degree in 2011 and hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in UK. I have also taken the time to complete the Level 3 Early Years Educator Diploma as well as a variety of courses, such as Safeguarding, Autism, Early Years Psychology and SEND here in the UK, to ensure my knowledge is informed and linked between my Spanish and British training.
I started my work life with children of different ages, including nursery school in my hometown. In 2014, I moved to Slovakia to work in an International School. In 2015, I moved to London and started to work at Anglo Spanish Nursery School.
At Anglo-Spanish, I started in the preschool as a Key Practitioner in September 2015. In June 2016 I became Preschool Room Leader and when the Deputy Manager opportunity came up in June 2017, I was delighted to be appointed.
Working with children is my passion. I enjoy teaching them and noticing every single goal they achieve. I am always looking for opportunities to keep learning and set new personal goals.
