About Us

Anglo Spanish Nursery School is bound together by our ethos of providing exceptional standards of care and education. At ASNS, we have developed our own individual and unique character, which brings together our bi-lingual commitment and our commitment to responding to the community we serve. We have an independent, community feel which we are very proud of.
ASNS is steeped in the tradition of focusing on the holistic development of each individual child and draws on the best nursery practice and the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

ASNS offer a variety of fun learning activities and experiences both inside and outside, utilising toys, arts and crafts, games, equipment and materials which develop the children physically, educationally and emotionally.

Our nursery is committed to ensuring that our teaching, learning and caring environment promotes and upholds ‘British Values’ which involves valuing and being aware of the multicultural society we live in.

We do this by encouraging:

  • Children to learn right from wrong
  • Encouraging turning taking and sharing
  • Encouraging inclusion
  • Challenging (and encouraging children to challenge) negative attitudes and stereotypes
